I recently learned that Nujabes died early this year in an auto accident. Well, he made some great hip hop in his time, this being a shining example of that. He’s one of the hip hop producers who uses piano and other classical type instruments heavily to create a very refined sounding beat. Other artists i consider to be in this category are Nomak, Fat Jon, and Tsutchie.

So this is Marcus D, there are some that don’t know him and I figure I should rec this shit like I do all shit that is especially dope.
People call him the new Nujabes, and I mean, I can see the comparison. Whether or not he is essentially Nujabes, he is another great entry into the jazz/hip-hop beats fusion that I do so very much enjoy.
